We refer to the announcement dated 27 September 2018 (reference no. GA1-04092018-00061) in relation to the Proposed Change of Name of the Company. The Board of Directors of ECS ICT Berhad ("ECSB" or "the Company") has announced the proposal to change the Company's name from "ECS ICT Berhad" to "VSTECS Berhad" ("Proposed Change of Name").
The name "VSTECS Berhad" had been approved and reserved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM"). The Proposed Change of Name is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting to be convened at a date to be announced later. The Proposed Change of Name, if approved by the shareholders, will take effect from the date of issuance of a notice of registration of the new name by the CCM.
A circular to shareholders containing the details of the Proposed Change of Name will be despatched to the shareholders in due course.
