Dear Connect User,
If you receive calls/SMS that claim to be from banks, BNM, police or other authorities, be cautious and authenticate the identity of the caller/sender. You may be told that your account is at stake, unauthorized transactions have been conducted, or that you have outstanding loan payments.
Protect yourself with these tips:
a. Never reveal personal/banking details to a 3rd party. Banks/BNM/Authorities will never ask for such information over the phone, or request you to transfer money to another account for investigation purposes.
b. Do not rely on incoming call display to identify a caller. Always call the bank directly via the no. obtained from a trustworthy source.
c. Register for TAC with your own mobile no. only.
d. Check your transaction history regularly for suspicious transactions.
If you suspect you have received a scam call, DO NOT reveal any details or follow any instructions. Contact us at +603-7626 8899 for clarification.
Thank you
